PRIVACY  POLICY The Lightbox Company is fully committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information given to us through this website will only be held and used with complete care and in accordance with this policy. Using this website constitutes your agreement to the terms of this privacy policy. Protection of Information:- We collect data from customers when they make a purchase on line or by telephone contact, we also gather information about customers from the use of the website.  Customer information collected includes name, address, telephone number, credit card details and delivery address.  We use this data to indentify customers and process their orders, payments, delivery, and providing warranty  support.  We will not trade or sell your personal details.  In order to process your order we will provide your details (excluding credit card details) to a third party for delivery purposes only.  These will be Companies that we have carefully screened. We will not disclose your personal information the any third parties unless required to do so by Court Order or other Legal requirement. In processing your order, the information you have provided will be used for credit card verification. We may send you e.mails about special offers etc. Should you wish to stop receiving such e.mails, there is an unsubscribed link in every e.mail. In addition to the protection above, your personal data is protected in the U.K by the Data Protection Act 1998.  Under the Act we will only process any data we hold about you in a lawful and fair manner.  We will keep your data as safe as possible protecting it against  loss and unauthorised disclosure or access. The Data held by The Lightbox Company will only include personal details. All financial details including credit and debit card details are not stored but are destroyed after financial transaction has taken place. SECURITY We use PayPal to securely handle payments made on the website.  Your credit card information is incrypted on the PayPal website.  The Lightbox Company does not receive your credit card details directly but only the payment via PayPal.  All financial information, including credit card details are not stored, and are immediatly destroyed after transaction has taken place. Your order details and address are also secure on our website, and will not be distributed to any third parties. CONDITION OF SALE The seller, The Lightbox Company, shall sell and the buyer shall purchase the goods at a price quoted by the seller on their website or as agreed in accordance with any other quotation offered by the seller. ORDER AND SPECIFICATION The specification for the goods shall be as set out on the sellers website or as detailed in any literature as supplied by the seller.  The seller reserves the right to make changes in the specification of the goods which are required to conform with any safety, statutory or regulatory requirements. PRICE OF GOODS The price of goods shall be the price as detailed on the sellers website at the date that the order is placed and accepted.  The price includes all relevant taxes. TERMS OF PAYMENT All goods ordered by the buyer must be paid for prior to dellivery. DELIVERY Orders are dispatched by Courier and are usually dispatched within 48 hours. Next day delivery can be arranged if required at no extra cost. A signature is required for goods and will only be left with an authorised receipient.  The goods will only be delivered to the delivery address on the consignment note.  An extra charge may be required if delivery to the original address fails and a new address has to be given. Delivery is to the U.K. only. All our deliveries are direct from our storage dept and charges vary by product type and are shown when you place your order. Deliveries are booked on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe and prompt delivery of the product.  Any special requirements should be notified to us at the point of ordering. You will be provided with a Courier tracking number when your order is dispatched. Orders will only be delivered week days during office hours - 08.30a.m - 5.30pm. Delivery on Saturday a.m.only,can be arranged at extra charge. DEFECTIVE GOODS If the goods are defective on delivery, the buyer should either refuse delivery or sign for `as condition and contents unknown`.  The buyer must give written notice of such defect within three working days after delivery.  The seller will replace the goods within seven working days or the seller will refund the price of the goods which are defective.  The seller shall not be liable for any defect from fair wear and tear, wilful damage or alteration of the goods without permission. RETURNS AND CANCELLATION  No goods may be returned to the seller without prior agreement. Goods, other than defective goods, returned to the buyer and accepted by the seller will be refunded with the cost of the goods excluding postage and packing. Under the United Kingdom distance selling regulations, the buyer has the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of goods at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. If you cancel an Order after the goods have been delivered, you will be charge full cost of collecting the item.  This charge will be deducted from any refund that is due to you. Where you cancel your Order under the Distance Selling Regulations, we will refund your money within 30 days of the day you cancelled your Order.  All refunds will be repaid to your credit card. When we receive your Returned Goods, we will inspect them to ensure that they are in perfect condition and within the original packaging and you have taken reasonable care of the goods.  If we receive an item that you have not taken reasonable care of, we shall charge you a fee equivalent to the reduction in the items value. If you wish to return your product, the reason for the return must be given to The Lightbox Company, either by letter, telephone, or e.mail. Returns will be collected by our Courier.  LIABILITY Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the sellers negligence, the seller shall not be liable to the buyer by reason of any representation or any implied warranty condition or any duty at common law or under statute or under expressed terms of contract, for any direct or consequential loss or damage sustained by the buyer, costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever which arise out of a connection with the supply of goods or their use or resale by the buyer.
